Democrat's & the KKK
So, I'm sure you all know that Pelosi is third in line to be president. During the campaign, every liberal I spoke to, and even some conservatives, were disgusted that Palin could potentially become president of the United States if something were to happen to McCain. All I kept thinking was, why isn't ANYONE freaking out at the prospect of Nancy Pelosi becoming president? I was.
Fourth in line in the presidential line of succession is Mr. Robert Byrd the president pro tempore of the United States Senate. This is the highest ranking position in the Senate. You remember him, right? The 'ex'-KKK member who was told by a fellow, Democrat Klansman that he was DESTINED for a career in politics, as a leader. Go figure. If he could see Byrd now...lol.
Incidentally, Obama had no qualms endorsing Byrd.
This exemplifies several things in my mind. The first is that it kinda doesn't matter to most Democrat's the history of their party--evidenced by their "voluntary selective amnesia" and damn near revisionist history on the DNC's website. Liberals, can say, or do anything and they get a friendly pass from the mainstream media. Joe "You can't go to a 7-11 without seeing an Indian guy behind the counter" Biden is a prime example of a gaffe prone liberal who never gets questioned.
Isn't it funny, that Christians, Black Christians, whose belief's align almost perfectly with Sarah Palin's refuse to ever consider voting for a Republican because they have been brainwashed and miseducated. I can't even really say that that's the case for every Black Democrat I know. Some are completely cognizant of failed liberal policies but will NEVER vote Republican EVER because Republicans are "racist" and they "don't care about poor people."
The ironies...
Robert Byrd says he's sorry and I don't know if he is truly contrite about his participation in an organization that is responsible for the blood shed of countless blacks. Only God knows. It just supports the point that Black Conservatives (like yours truly) make ad nauseum that Liberals are held to different (LOWER) standards---but the real people who suffer aren't the well intentioned Republicans that run for public office and lose in Black districts--- the real, unfortunate, losers are the Black people in the inner cities who can't get ahead because they obstinately and ignorantly oppose thinking outside the Democrat's limited "only the government can help you out" box.

I wish someone would explain Massachusetts to me. Ted, Barney and Kerry. Someone said they get elected by 'Massholes".
