Hat Tip to Mr. Harry Alford, Chairman of the Black Chamber of Commerce

I had to blog about this twice.  I missed Mr. Alford on Bill Oreilly a few nights ago and was privileged, yes, privileged enough to watch a rerun last night.  If you missed it, here it is.

When Mr. Alford said, "Barbara Boxer only likes poor Black people.  She wants Black people in their rightful place," I literally started screaming with delight at the television.  I felt like I was in church for a moment.

Mr. Alford captured the essence of the modern day Democrat's -and some might argue the essence of the older Democrat's as well.   Mr. Alford was simply trying to present viable information about the Waxman-Markey Cap and Trade Scheme and it's potentially debillitating effects on the American economy.  He's not against working towards a better environment, he's against a bill that will have virtually no effect on carbon emissions by 2050 while simultaneously causing millions and millions of people to lose their jobs.

Boxer incites race to silence Alford.  Straight out of the liberal playbook.

In Boxer's eyes, Mr. Alford is not a human being, he's just another black face.  He's not allowed to have an opinion that's different from his "brothers" and "sisters"over at the NAACP.  I can imagine what Boxer was thinking,  "Since when did WE allow Black people to be independent thinkers who believe in the benefits of capitalism and free enterprise?  They're all supposed to want more government handouts! Damn!  Me and my homies in the Democratic Party are going to have to work extra hard to keep them ignorant!  Note to self: Work overtime to keep school choice vouchers out of the poor black areas. We can't have this!"

In all seriousness, Obama was right on the other day when he told the NAACP that racism still persists-especially when members of his party behave the way Senator Boxer did!  Hopefully this incident will open the eyes of dormant Black Conservatives who still believe in the Democratic Party.

The pushback against liberal condescension continues. We are no longer content to allow liberals like Barbara Boxer to browbeat us with the professorial tones they employ against conservatives.

When we are confronted with it as Mr. Alford was in his testimony before Boxer's committee, he reacted like conservatives are starting to react all over the country. He delivered a stinging rebuke.

What a pleasure to see how Blacks realize how liberalism has been used to control them. Their enemy, as well as Whites', are White liberals.
