Capitalism and Africa
This is an amazing video of an African Economist who postulates in her book "Dead Aid" that all of money Africa is receiving from foreign countries and private donors isn't helping-it's making matters worse. Please watch the entire video. She's corroborated with much of what I've felt has been a major issue in Haiti as well. My parents are from Haiti and there is so much AID that goes over there---yet the people are still living in poverty.
Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's surely the best.

Good viewpoint Vanessa!

Thank you for posting this great YouTube vid that cuts to the core of the issue of African poverty. Not more no strings attached AID that quickly gets deposited in Swiss bank accounts, but capital formation that will provide the seed money for future African economic expansion.

I agree wholeheartedly with this article and video. Plenty of us as Black Americans see this type of "AID" given to alot of black communities in the form of welfare, foodstamps etc. Instead of a good education on how free market actually works and can work for us.
