Liberal Democrats Destroyed Black America, Who Wants Next?
In the wake of Derrion Albert's death, I find myself increasingly disillusioned by the current state of Black America. While African Americans comprise 13.5 percent of the population, 43 percent of all murder victims in 2007 were African America. Of the 43 percent who were murdered, 93.1 percent were killed by African Americans. Was it always like this? The answer is Unequivocally: NO.
The disproportionate crime rates, illegitimacy rates, divorce rates, drugs abuse, and disproportionate incarceration rates didn't begin until liberals took over the Black Community in the 60s. Before liberals came and negated the influence of the Black father, over 80 percent of black children in 1960 were born in wedlock. In 1940 the illegitimacy rate amongst Blacks was 19 percent. Today, post the liberals monopoly in the poor urban areas, the illegitimacy rate is over 70 percent and almost 90 percent in the inner city. Surprisingly, between 1890 and 1940 Blacks had a marriage rate slightly higher than Whites. According to Herbert G. Gutman author of "The Black Family in Slavery and Freedom (1750-1925)"-- for every 6 children under the age of under the of 6-5 of them lived in two parent households. In Harlem between 1905 and 1925, only 3 percent of all families were headed by a woman under 30. In this same time period, 85 percent of black children lived in two-parent families.
The training ground for any human being begins in the home. The dynamics of the home environment can do two things: it can set the child up for failure or for success. When Patrick Moynihan, a Democrat began seeing the negative trends of entitlement programs regarding the Black Family in the 60s he wrote the "Moynihan Report". In the "Moynihan Report" he predicted that if the Black family continued to disintegrate, then there would be issues of delinquency, crime, disproportional educational outcomes, and other social problems that come when a father isn't active in a child's life.
What did the liberals do with this information? They called Moynihan a racist! They decried that he was "blaming the victim" and that he was against the "strong black woman" and that she could do it all by herself. Well, it wasn't all by her lonesome because the nanny state (LBJ's Great Society) was going to be there to replace daddy. Part of the stipulations for receiving welfare was that the Black father was not able to be present in the home. Therein lies the beginning of the destruction of our families.
Well, on behalf of the Black race, I want to thank all the liberal feminists who screwed up Black America with their entitlement programs and their warped world views. I want to thank the Saul Alinksy's and all the "community organizers" who used the Blacks as pawns to advance their Marxist agenda. The progressives of this day had it all figured out. In order to eradicate the capitalist foundation of this country, they would need to put as many people on the welfare rolls as possible. The progressives didn't care about Blacks before this. They were too busy empathizing with Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini. Look it up. Moreover, racist Progressives like Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) were too busy pushing their eugenics (i.e. let's kill off as many black people and other "undesirables" as possible).
Do you think Lyndon Baines Johnson and John F Kennedy cared about Blacks in this time? Lyndon Baines Johnson and John F Kennedy didn't even support civil rights legislation until it became politically convenient to do so. Neither supported the Civil Rights Act of 1957 (pushed by REPUBLICANS). In fact, the same president we thank for Great Society, Mr. LBJ said, "President Truman's civil rights program "is a farce and a sham--an effort to set up a police state in the guise of liberty. I am opposed to that program. I have voted against the so-called poll tax repeal bill. . .. I have voted against the so-called anti-lynching bill."
Liberals managed to destroy an institution that survived the most heinous of circumstances.
So, what's the answer?
More government? Obama? PUHLEEZE! Spare me! Obama has the same prescription for the REST OF AMERICA that the Liberals had for Blacks in the 60s. It's not going to work. When you want to think of what a liberal utopia will look like in America (don't think of Stalin's Russia, Mussolini's Italy, or Hitler's Germany-I know it's tempting) just picture the ghettos of America.
Hey liberals, You cannot help lift people out of poverty by taking from one group to give to another. All that happens with redistribution of wealth is a new "slave" that the liberals can count on that will always vote for them. Contrast that to the Conservative Republican response to poverty, which is change your values, maintain strong family structures that create human capitol, and then stay out of the private sector so the private sector can do what it does best-create WEALTH. That way it becomes nearly impossible to become slaves to the Conservative Republican "system" of economic revitalization.
The answer for Black America is getting back to our values. Not the values of the amoral, nihilistic liberals. We need to go back to a place where we reject moral relativity. We need to encourage Black men to marry Black women before they bring children into the world. We need to stop "dogging" Black people who are educating themselves and speaking proper english. We need to stop calling them "sell-outs" and "uncle toms". We need to stop saying "You talk like a White person" when one of "us" speaks proper english. Intelligence is not strictly "white domain"-no matter what liberals tell you. Liberals continually want to absolve Blacks of personally responsibility. Liberals say we kill each other, we rob from each other because we "don't know any better" or because " we can't help ourselves". That's bull. We do know better. We can do better. We will do better when we get back to our "roots". What are those "roots"?--God, Family and Education. More Government, and Obama definitely aren't part of the prescription for a better tomorrow.

this is one of the most honest, courageous posts I've ever seen regarding the demise of the black community. I will help spread it around and hopefully the black community will begin to see through what the Democrats have been doing to them. They don't have to agree with Conservatives on everything but there are a few things in life that are not exclusive to a political party and that is God, values and hard work.

I grew-up in rural Wisconsin in the 1950s. I went to 4th grade in Columbus, GA while my Dad was at the Infantry School at Ft. Benning. One day, we were down town and I was thirsty and took a drink from a water fountain. A fat white man gently took me by the shoulder and told me I was drinking out of the wrong fountain...it was for the colored folks. I couldn't comprehend it! My first contact with racism. The Black areas were really run down, but they were families with two-parents. The kids dressed as well as possible and were all in school. It was segregated Georgia, but the greatest source of crime was the Klan. My Dad took me past a Klan Protest so I could see the garbage of white society.
I saw what happened with the "Great Society". As far as I am concerned, as a white man, this was another step in Margaret Sanger's program to eliminate the Negro race!
When I look at any person, I see a person, not whatever ethic group they are from. We are all, or should all be Americans, a melting pot, not a Balkanized society, full of distrust, hatred and aggression. Thanks to the "Great Society" and the liberals, wedges have been driven between ethnic groups in an attempt to destroy the American Experiment, which was doing very well until the 1960s.

The sad thing is that you are an exception in today's America - you know and understand history. Thanks to the government schools, knowledge of the past is a rarity. According to the prevailing liberal mythology, Republicans have always been racists and liberals always "save" everyone. Yet, the Emancipation Proclamation, the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments, the 1957 Civil Rights Act and the historic 1964 Civil Rights Act were all Republican products opposed by Democrats. Democrats imposed segregation on the South for one hundred years, started the KKK, opposed all civil rights acts and are responsible for the ruin of the black family and the dependency mentality. The problem is, how can this be made known in the face of the appalling ignorance so prevalent in our society? As I said, you are an educated rarity. Maybe somehow we will have to find a way to produce many more "rarities" such as you.

I am an almost 60-yo white female. I've watched in horror what the democrats have done to black America over the course of my lifetime.
When I was a child, my friends were all shades and colors, watching my grandchildren and their friends, that doesn't seem to be allowed any more.
What a waste of intellectual, community, and human resources!

This is a very powerful message. I have sent it to my daughter-in-law. I am a white grandmother of a bi-racial beautiful little girl. My son waited until he was 33 to marry and found a beautiful, well-educated, family oriented, woman who was raised in a Christian home. They waited until they were married for a couple of years to have my little Camila Belle. I can go to my grave happy knowing that my son is happy and that he has a wife who exceeds all of my expectations. They are as in love today as they were 6 years ago. She is about 8 years younger then my son and her family was at first cautious, but they have since welcomed him in as one of their own. Your article reminded me of her in that she holds her beliefs above all and she sparkles all of the time. You have made my day. A woman that was on Glenn Beck (on of the moms) said something that was so profound....when you believe and trust in God, color is not something you think about. That is probably the truest statement I've heard in a long time. God bless you. I'm glad I found your site. I'll be back and bring others with me.

In regards to the black family I thought you might be interested in the following history. "James Newell, an African slave of Mary White, 1690. Mary White had a farm in...and she had the singular fancy to marry her slave. Tradition speaks of him as a respectable man. Their children...They have descendants in Scituate." I've been interested in this since first reading it because it is not part of the history we are taught about blacks & whites in America. This info is from the History of Scituate, Mass published 1831 in Boston, Mass.

It's amazing how people don't see how much damage is being done by the liberal policies that they claim are good, and are going to help.
If blacks would embrace your message, racism would all but vanish overnight. I pray they do embrace it wholeheartedly, but sadly the country is in a death-grip of liberal indoctrination starting in elementary school, with the media, and with race-baiters like Jackson and Sharpton.

Uncle Tom Lloyd Marcus becomes the face of the Tea Party movement
All across America, we’ve seen literally thousands of Tea Parties, Obamacare town hall protests, and the recent march on Washington. Hundreds of thousand of people, if not millions, have come out to voice their anger at what’s going on in their country courtesy of President Rahm Emanuel and his puppet, Barack Obama. And 99% of them have been white. That’s a fact. In fact, it’s probably higher than that, like 99.99%. It’s a white movement, plain and simple. But white people have been taught to hate themselves, and so they go out of their way to recruit Uncle Tom’s for their movements, hoping the media won’t call them racists. The family values crowd enlisted “Bishop” Harry Jackson in their fight against gay marriage. And Harry Jackson promptly repaid the favor by inviting “black conservative” crackhead criminal Marion Barry to speak at a rally for traditional marriage. And who can forget Julius Caesar (JC) Watts, the darling of the conservative movement in the 1990s, simply because he was the only black Republican in Congress? After being coddled and promoted by white Republicans for years, in 2008 Watts paid them back by saying he was probably going to vote for Obama, and hinted that he thinks the GOP is “racist.” And don’t get me started on Harry Alford.
Republicans have been doing this for decades, groveling and pandering to blacks in the hope that blacks will see just “color-blind” they are, and start voting GOP. And year after year, election after election, blacks continue voting for the Democrats by a factor of at least 9-1. In 2008, it was 19-1. 95% of blacks voted for Obama. And have conservatives learned anything? Nope. Look at the tea parties for proof. Until a couple days ago, hardly anyone could name a person associated with the tea parties. They came out of a true grass roots movement, and except for the few politicians and washed up C-list celebs who latched on to them, like Chuck Norris, there wasn’t a face attached to the movement. It was truly a mass movement, that didn’t revolve around a personality.
But in the past couple days, one person has become the face of the tea parties. And surprise, surprise, it’s a black guy. Hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people show up at tea parties, and about 7 of them are black, and now one of them has become the public face of this white movement. I wrote about Marcus a long time ago. He wrote some lame song that’s now the Tea Party Anthem, and so he was invited up on stage to play and sing for the crowd at the Orlando protest. I said that his presence was proof that the tea parties aren’t serious, and that they were going nowhere. And after his Orlando performance, he was asked to perform at a whole bunch of other “conservative” political events and protests, by stupid white people who are eager to show they’re not racist.

You obviously don't understand why I left the Democratic Party or the point of this blog. Everything about me is problack that's why I'm a Conservative Republican. I'm anti government dependence. I don't need to prove it to you-except by my repudiation of the Democratic Party's modern day shackles. Incidentally, I always acknowledge that there are racists on both sides. I don't care about them. I care about conservative principles with regards to economic revitalization-not a nanny state (i.e. ghettos of America). The latter has crippled a segment of the Black population.

Look at the ghettos of America. They are run by Democrat's. Every issue in the black community can be directly linked back to liberal policies and liberals infiltrating their "values" (or lack thereof) onto Black America. Sadly, black Americans accepted their nihilism but we're waking up! Thank GOD I woke up. Things won't change in Black America until Blacks forget about corrupt government officials throwing bread crumbs their way whose only use for them is to advance their marxist agendas. Also, your crying about racism and calling Black conservatives names does nothing to advance the dialog so we can come up with real solutions. So...

You are so right. The sad irony is that a million men died in the civil war, and blacks who suffered during slavery, are the ones most likely to vote themselves back into big-government slavery!
Why can't they see that everywhere Democrat/Lefty policies are implemented it ends in poverty and failure? The 20 poorest cities in the country have been run by lefties the longest.

Actually, I think it is interesting that many Blacks believe they put Obama into office. Blacks only comprise about 13% of this nation's population, according to the latest census information, in a country the size of the US, that's hardly enough people to significantly impact and election. How can a man of any color, with no real political tenure and especially no foreign affairs experience become president of the most powerful nation on earth? White guilt put Obama in office. I already hear white liberals (or progressives now as they call themselves because liberal has a bad connotation associated with it)saying that "Racism doesn't exist in America, because we have a Black president." However, nothing could be further from the truth. Obama won because true conservatives did not show up @ the polls. Why did true conservatives not show up? Because no conservative ran in 2008. John McCain has proven that he is not a conservative. Sen. McCain said he agrees with most of Obama's healthcare plan, even about federally funded abortions. After 8 years of Bush, conservatives were looking for a TRUE conservative president to take office, instead we got shafted again. The good news is, liberals ooops (I mean progressives) haven't learned their lesson. Congressional elections in 2010 will reveal who has the political clout in America. Conservatives. Right now, we are allowing the Pelosi's',and Reid's'to borrow Congressional seats in D.C., however, those leases will expire next year, guaranteed. In conclusion, in the now famous words of John McCain, "The American people have spoken overwhelmingly."

I'd like to offer a proposal that will strength the collective black community. End poverty, homelessness, decrease gang membership, violence and increase educational achievement. It is a new twist on reparations - a plan that would be supported by all Americans - guaranteed, and pay 5 times more that what current proposals call for. I think it is imperative that blacks (all of American society for that matter) work to expel government from our family and religious lives. It is for that reason that I signed the Manhattan Declaration vowing to choose civil disobedience over obeying corrupt government laws and policies viewed as unjust and/or immoral and as they apply to LIFE, FAMILY AND OUR RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS.
I believe that we need to return to the practice of "Covenant Marriage" as opposed to "Legal Marriage" to assist us in expelling government from our Family lives. Covenant Marriage is simply a vow between a man, woman and GOD to remain married for life. Only GOD is a third party to the Covenant.
Legal marriage was implemented just after the Civil War in repsonse to the newly freed slaves. Many whites during that time were concerned that freed blacks would begin intermarrying with whites and they wanted a way to CONTROL that situation so Legal Marriage with marriage licenses and certificates was their solution. If you were an interracial couple applying for a marriage license they simply refused to issue one. Prior to legal marriage people simply made their vows to GOD via their church etc and then documented such in their Bibles.
Now days once you enter into Legal Marriage you are in contract with the state and they now have control of your marriage and your children.
With the onset of the femifascist movement of the 50's and 60's new forms of CONTROL have come into play with Abortion laws, No Fault Divorce (applied unilaterally), corrupt child Support court orders and the like with government agencies making money off the process. It's crimminal to say the least.
One of the best books available on this subject matter is Stephen Baskervilles, "Taken Into Custody - The War Against Father's, Marriage and the Family". It is a must read for all those wanting to know just how corrupt and evil this system is.
