I have the hardest working mother in the world. My mother lives in my heart. I am a REBEL by nature whose been working as a Counselor in the inner city for the last several years. I grew tired of being angry with the purported "white establishment" for the issues in the Black community. I STOPPED watching B-E-T and I started READING HISTORY and realized the only establishment that's been debilitating to Black America is the Liberal Establishment. Thus, I am no longer a Democrat. I am an independent thinking center-right Christian Conservative who votes Republican. I REFUSE to be put in an ideological box. I am not your typical Black Republican who looks the other way when I see racism. It still exists, HOWEVER, I simply refuse to be part of the victim chorus that typical leftists prey on. I believe in Black People and our ability to rise above the generational government dependency that has destroyed our families and made it difficult for us to fare educationally and economically. In this blog,I challenge liberalism and mainstream conservatism in an attempt to elevate the dialogue concerning black America. Aside from my obsession with politics, public policy, and American History, I have dreadlocks and often refer to myself as the "Nappy Head Republican". I AM CHRISTIAN, CONSCIOUS, CONSERVATIVE, and REPUBLICAN...in that order. No self-hatred from this black republican. Thanks for reading my blog.
